In contrast, an anonymous wallet transferred 2,616 BTC, approximately $77.8 million, to Coinbase. Moreover, the New York-based exchange Gemini transferred 4,000 Bitcoin, worth over $119.1 million, to a third unknown wallet. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $29,625.
Ethereum and Dogecoin Transactions
There were also substantial transactions involving Ethereum. Two anonymous wallets moved large amounts of Ethereum to Coinbase, with one transferring 18,920 ETH (over $35.1 million) and the other 19,046 ETH (around $34.9 million). Another unknown wallet transferred 15,000 Ethereum, worth over $27.8 million, to the Cayman Islands-based exchange Gate.io. Ethereum’s price stands at $1,855 as of writing. As for Dogecoin, an unknown wallet sent 67,881,717 DOGE, valued at over $5 million, to Coinbase. The price of Dogecoin is currently around $0.0754.
Other Altcoins
In the realm of other altcoins, the treasury for Gnosis, an Ethereum sidechain, sent an anonymous wallet 92,000 GNO, worth over $10.2 million. At the time of writing, GNO is trading at $111.51.
