Believing the individual’s words, the woman deposited another RM164,417, under the impression that this money would be refunded. The fraudsters continued their deception by claiming an additional RM99,636 was necessary for foreign currency exchange purposes.
After making the deposits, the woman received no payments, profits, or even her initial capital back. In the end, she lost over RM299,000 to this fraudulent cryptocurrency investment scheme.
