Is the Bitcoin market about to experience a sharp downturn? According to Annii, a host on Crypto Banter’s YouTube channel, we might be looking at a significant Bitcoin price fall—to an estimated $21,700. This prediction is based on a comprehensive analysis of Bitcoin’s recent market behavior and trends.

Bitcoin’s Struggle with Support Levels

Annii’s evaluation of Bitcoin’s market trends reveals a concerning pattern. Despite the bull market’s previous support, Bitcoin has been unsuccessful in regaining its footing. This failure to recover past support levels suggests a potentially bearish trajectory for the cryptocurrency.

A Closer Look at Bitcoin’s EMAs

Annii’s analysis dives deeper into Bitcoin’s exponential moving averages (EMAs). She used five different EMAs—10, 20, 50, 200, and 800—to gain a clearer understanding of Bitcoin’s market position. Unfortunately, her findings indicate that Bitcoin’s price is now below all these EMAs on the weekly chart, despite a relatively bullish trend since the start of 2023. This observation implies that Bitcoin is currently situated in a bearish zone.

Further supporting the bearish sentiment is Bitcoin’s repeated failure to close above the convergence zone of multiple EMAs over the past six weeks. This pattern strengthens the notion of a bearish trend for Bitcoin.

Projections for Bitcoin’s Future

With the bearish sentiment established, Annii identified a bullish candle on the weekly chart that hasn’t fully recovered yet. This candle emerged during a Bitcoin rally in mid-March. The current retracement has recouped nearly 50% of that bullish run. Therefore, Annii sets a bearish target at the base of that candle, around $21,700, for a potential further price drop.

However, it’s worth noting that a move above the converging EMAs could invalidate this bearish prediction and potentially pave the way for higher Bitcoin prices. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $26,247, according to TradingView data. Since the end of March, the leading crypto’s price has been moving sideways, trading between $24,800 and $31,804.
